About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:
- Build an automation engine that consumes YAML/JSON descriptors and applies corresponding actions across GitLab, JFrog, SonarQube, Kubernetes, and related platforms.
- Develop reconciliation jobs that continuously enforce declared access/policy state, detecting and remediating drift automatically.
- Implement observability pipelines to track compliance, access events, and infrastructure health.
- Build dashboards and alerts to provide visibility into policy adherence and exceptions.
- Collaborate closely with platform, security, and developer productivity teams to enforce least-privilege access control and compliance.
- Ensure the engine is scalable, secure, and resilient, following GitOps and configuration-as-code best practice
- Provide technical leadership through hands-on implementation, mentoring junior engineers as needed.
Qualifications:
- 8yrs
Must-Have
- 4+ years of infrastructure automation experience
- Solid proficiency in Python, Terraform, Helm
- Hands-on expertise with infrastructure automation and orchestration (Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Proven experience integrating with GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Kubernetes APIs
- Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, SSO, and compliance enforcement in distributed systems
- Solid background in observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK)
Success Criteria (First 4 Months)
- Deliver a prototype engine that ingests YAML/JSON team descriptors and applies at least 2–3 infrastructure actions (e.g., GitLab group creation, Kubernetes RBAC mapping)
- Provide an observability dashboard showing access and compliance status across GitLab, JFrog, SonarQube, and Kubernetes
