About The Job:

- The Senior Utility Tariff Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing precise and accurate calculation models for utility tariffs and rates using proprietary tools and technologies.
- These models form a critical component of the end products and therefore require strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, coding discipline, and a focus on accuracy.
- The role requires solid hands-on development capabilities, particularly in SQL and Python, along with the ability to understand complex data, business logic, and existing application workflows.
- The ideal candidate should be self-driven, technically strong, quick to learn new tools and technologies,



and capable of independently taking ownership of development tasks from analysis through implementation and validation.

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, enhance, test, and maintain utility tariff calculation models and associated application components.
- Analyze complex calculation requirements and translate business logic into accurate and maintainable technical solutions.
- Work extensively with SQL and relational databases for data analysis, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts/programs to support tariff modeling, data processing, validation, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify data issues, inconsistencies, and patterns that may impact tariff calculations.
