Job Description:

1. POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager – Support the Category Marketing Manager in driving the Take
Home category agenda, with ownership of day-to-day execution across recent product
development, packaging, channel and trade marketing, social media, PR and category
analytics.
2. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 New Product Development: Drive NPD projects from concept lock to launch. Author
the brief, run R&D;, packaging, procurement and supply chain to timeline, and track
in-market performance for the first two quarters post-launch.
 Packaging & Pack Architecture: Write packaging briefs, manage design agencies
through creative rounds, take artwork to press-ready, and maintain a clean SKU and
artwork master
 Agency & Creative Management: Brief and manage creative, design and digital
agency partners. Run reviews, hold quality on output, and bring an independent point
of view rather than relaying feedback.
 Channel Marketing: Build and execute activation calendars across General Trade,
Modern Trade and Quick Commerce. Work with the sales team to secure category




focus and land initiatives at the outlet.
 Social Media: Supervise the monthly content calendar end to end. Approve creative
before it goes live, hold brand tonality, oversee community management and
engagement, and report performance monthly.
 Public Relations: Set the monthly PR agenda with the agency. Identify the stories
worth telling, drive the pitch list, review releases before they go out, and supervise
deliverables and coverage against commitments.
 Trade Marketing & POSM: Translate campaigns into what appears at the outlet —
brief, approve and track deployment of visibility elements and in-store collaterals.
 Category Analysis & Reporting: Monitor category performance across markets and
channels, run launch post-mortems, and build the review decks that go to top
management — own the analysis, not just the inputs.
