Job description:
ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to own and drive the overall Quality Engineering strategy, roadmap, automation, manual testing,
quality metrics and continuous improvement across a 30-person engineering team. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership, requiring the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Strategy & Ownership

- Define and drive the Quality Engineering strategy, roadmap and priorities across multiple initiatives.
- Establish quality standards, Definition of Done, quality gates and release-readiness criteria.
- Identify and proactively manage quality risks across parallel initiatives.
- Drive shift-left, risk-based testing and quality-by-design practices.
- Design, develop and maintain robust API, integration, regression and end-to-end automation.
- Strong focus on backend/API automation rather than UI-only testing.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and scripting for test execution, validation and test data.
- Use Bruno, Postman or equivalent API testing tools for API validation and automation.
