Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, etc.
- Handle Industrial Relations (IR), employee grievances, disciplinary matters, absenteeism and union/workmen-related issues.
- Coordinate and manage internal, external and statutory HR/labour audits, including documentation and closure of observations.
- Manage contract labour compliance and coordinate with contractors on statutory requirements.
- Drive employee engagement, welfare initiatives and effective employee communication.
- Coordinate with plant leadership, corporate HR, labour authorities and external consultants as required.
- Coordinate day-to-day plant HR operations, including manpower, attendance, leave, employee lifecycle and HR MIS.
