About The Job:
- We are looking for a skilled L2+ Linux Administrator with hands-on cloud experience to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based systems in a cloud setting. The role involves advanced support, incident resolution, and system reliability improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide L2/L3 support for Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
- Troubleshoot performance, availability, and system issues
- Manage user access, file systems, services, and processes
- Perform patching, upgrades, and security hardening
- Monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.
- Work on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) – provisioning, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Handle incidents, problem management, and RCA documentation
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash/Python preferred)
- Support backup, recovery, and DR activities
- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams
Qualifications:
- Exp: 8 to 12 years
Required Skills:
- Strong Linux administration (L2/L3 level)
- Good knowledge of system internals (CPU, memory, disk, networking)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Hands-on with SSH, cron jobs, package management (yum/apt)
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, firewall)
- Scripting (Bash mandatory, Python is a plus)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) is a plus
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansibl
