Essential Job Functions:

File Server Administration
- Manage and maintain Windows File Servers and shared folders.
- Create, modify, and remove file shares based on business requirements.
- Configure and manage NTFS permissions and share permissions.
- Monitor server capacity, performance, and availability.
- Implement file system quotas and storage management policies.

Print Server Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise print servers.
- Manage printer queues, printer drivers, and print policies.




- Troubleshoot printer connectivity and printing issues.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware-related printer issues.
- Monitor print services and ensure availability.

Access Management
- Provision and deprovision user access to shared resources.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Manage Active Directory security groups related to file and print services.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and audits.

Incident & Problem Management
- Resolve file server and printer-related incidents within SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Handle escalations and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
- Support major incident management activities.

Backup & Recovery
- Ensure backup of file server data.
- Support restore requests and disaster recovery activities.
- Validate backup success and recovery procedures.
- Participate in DR testing exercises.
