Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Techno-Functional) to lead high-performing engineering teams while driving the successful delivery of enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should possess a solid technical background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS, combined with excellent stakeholder management, escalation handling, and people leadership skills.
This role requires someone who can effectively bridge business and technology, manage large cross-functional teams, resolve critical delivery issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead multiple engineering teams and manage a team of 30–100+ engineers across projects.
- Drive technical strategy, engineering excellence, and continuous process improvement.
- Provide technical guidance on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Architecture, and enterprise application development.
- Review solution architecture and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, scalability, and performance best practices.




- Partner with architects and technical leads to build scalable, resilient, and cloud-native applications.

Techno-Functional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Act as the bridge between business, engineering, product, and delivery teams.
- Participate in solution discussions, effort estimation, roadmap planning, and release management.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering execution.

Escalation & Delivery Management
- Own and manage critical customer, delivery, and production escalations.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
- Monitor project health, identify delivery risks, and execute mitigation plans.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality, security, and compliance standards.
