Professional Experience
2–5 years of experience in medical transcription, clinical documentation, or healthcare secretarial services, with a strong track record of transcribing multi-specialty medical reports.
Role Purpose
To accurately listen to, interpret, and transcribe recorded audio dictations from medical consultants into highly accurate, formatted electronic medical reports, ensuring absolute linguistic and clinical document integrity.
Key Responsibilities
· Transcribe voice recordings from physicians and surgeons into structured clinical documents, including operative logs, discharge summaries, history and physical reports, and consultation notes.
· Review, edit,



and proofread automatically generated speech-to-text transcripts against original audio recordings to correct punctuation, structural formatting, and contextual errors.
· Translate complex medical terminology, clinical abbreviations, anatomical phrasing, and surgical jargon accurately without altering the clinician's intended meaning.
· Audit finalized clinical records for clarity, identifying inconsistencies, missing patient vitals, or conflicting diagnostic remarks, and flag them to the medical consultant for immediate review.
· Ensure all transcribed medical records strictly comply with hospital formatting guidelines, patient legal privacy standards, and quality benchmarks.
· Upload, index, and organize completed electronic health files directly into the Hospital Information System (HIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system within established turnaround timelines.
