N nJAMF Administrator – Mac Endpoint Management
NKey roles/Responsibilities
N1. JAMF Pro Administration
N - Administer and maintainthe JAMF Pro environment.
N - Configure JAMF policies, configuration profiles, restrictions, Smart Groups, scripts, and packages.
N - Manage JAMF user roles,permissions, and administrative access.
N - Monitor JAMF health, device check-ins, policy execution, and enrollment status.
N - Maintain JAMF configuration standards and operational documentation.
N2. MacBook Enrollment & Provisioning
N - Manage corporate MacBook enrollment using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
N - Configure and maintain PreStage Enrollment workflows.
N - Implement zero-touch deployment for new MacBooks.
N - Configure device naming, user assignment, local accounts, security settings, and baseline configurations.
N - Support MacBook refresh, replacement, re-enrollment,
and redeployment processes.
N3. Configuration & PolicyManagement
N - Create and maintain macOS Configuration Profiles (Hireright internal)
N4. Application Management
N - Package and deploy macOS applications through JAMF Pro.
N - Manage application installation, upgrades, patching, and removal.
N - Maintain application versions and deployment policies.
N - Configure Self Service for approved applications.
N - Troubleshoot application deployment failures.
N - Work with application owners to onboard recent Mac applications.
N5. macOS Patching & OS Lifecycle
N - Manage macOS upgrades and security updates.
N - Test new macOS releasesbefore enterprise deployment.
N - Create phased deployment rings for OS updates.
N - Monitor patch compliance and remediate devices that fall behind.
N6. Endpoint Security & Compliance
N - Support endpoint security tools such as:
