What this job involves:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and distributing internal building-level and organizational communications. The ideal candidate brings exceptional writing ability, a sharp editorial eye, hands-on experience distributing communications through CMS platforms, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy in every deliverable. You will draft, edit,
and proofread a wide range of communications materials, review all outgoing communications for grammatical accuracy, consistency, tone, and brand alignment before distribution, and maintain and enforce brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards across all communication channels.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of internal communications materials, reviewing all outgoing communications for grammatical accuracy, consistency, tone, and brand alignment before distribution
- Distribute internal communications to building-level and organizational audiences using content management systems (CMS)
- Maintain and enforce brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards across all communication channels, coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather accurate information and ensure messaging is consistent and error-free
