About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Product Owner with 10–15 years of experience to own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of complex regulatory reporting and compliance technology programmes. You will operate at the intersection of financial services regulation, functional business analysis, and Agile product delivery — translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product backlogs and working closely with technology, risk, compliance, and operations teams to deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of regulatory accuracy, auditability, and governance.
This is a senior, high-impact role requiring deep domain expertise in financial services regulation — APRA, ASIC, MiFID II, EMIR, BCBS 239, or equivalent — combined with solid product ownership, stakeholder management, and functional analysis skills. You will be the voice of the regulator within the delivery team and the voice of the delivery team to the regulator — bridging the gap between regulatory obligation and technology solution with authority, clarity,



and commercial pragmatism.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Product Ownership
- Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for regulatory reporting and compliance technology programmes — ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, business strategy, and technology capability.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements — APRA prudential standards, ASIC reporting rules, MiFID II, EMIR, BCBS 239, Basel III / IV — into clearly defined, prioritised, and deliverable product features and user stories.
- Define and maintain a well-groomed, prioritised product backlog — balancing regulatory deadlines, business value, technical feasibility, and risk across multiple concurrent regulatory change streams.
