Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3+ years in Cisco ACI environments.
- Design and deploy Cisco ACI fabric architecture, including APIC controllers, leaf and spine switches.
- Configure and manage tenants, application profiles, endpoint groups (EPGs), contracts, and policies.
- Integrate ACI with VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ACI fabric, connectivity, and policy enforcement.
- Implement ACI Multi-Site and Multi-Pod architectures for scalability and redundancy.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to align ACI policies with business requirements.
- Automate ACI operations using Python, REST APIs, and Ansible.
- Monitor and optimize ACI performance using Cisco tools and third-party monitoring solutions.
- Maintain documentation for architecture,



configurations, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements.
- Robust understanding of Cisco Nexus switches (9K series) and ACI fabric components.
- Experience with Layer 2/3 networking, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and multicast.
- Proficiency in ACI automation and scripting (Python, REST API, Ansible).
- Familiarity with ACI integration with firewalls, load balancers, and other third-party services.
- Experience with ACI upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
