The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most creative and diverse people around the world based in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India, you will operate as an individual contributor Here, you will make an impact by:
- Own procurement category strategy across 3M businesses and divisions,
supporting outsourced manufacturing, NPI launches, sourcing policies, negotiations, and cost/working capital goals.
- Lead supplier selection and relationship management, drive cost reduction and should-cost modelling, and manage mid-spend suppliers with the Global Metals Category team.
- Lead and implement sourcing strategies for dual-sourcing, negotiations, supplier management, category strategy, and external supply solutions.
- Drive process improvements, stakeholder partnerships, category risk reduction, and SAP-enabled sourcing support.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers in collaboration with 3M stakeholders and Legal, implementing complex agreements such as SMI, consigned materials, and formula-based pricing.
