Summary

As a SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Architect, a typical day involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of VIM solutions to support complex business transformations, including SAP Divestment, Carve-out, and Separation Programs. The role requires defining scalable invoice processing architectures, assessing system integrations, planning migration and cutover activities, and ensuring seamless business continuity during entity separation. Collaboration with cross-functional business, finance, integration,



and data migration teams is essential to deliver robust and compliant invoice management solutions while minimizing operational disruption.

Roles & Responsibilities

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Lead the SAP VIM workstream in SAP Divestment/Carve-out programs including architecture, migration strategy, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

Assess and manage SAP VIM integrations with SAP CPI, SAP Ariba, SAP Basis, OpenText Archive, and related systems.

Drive document, attachment, workflow, and historical data migration activities ensuring data integrity and business continuity.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data cleansing, go-live readiness, and cutover validation activities.

Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on SAP VIM best practices, architecture, and transformation programs.
