Zonal Sales Manager North / West | FMCG or stationery industry

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Zonal Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the assigned zone. The ideal candidate should have a strong FMCG sales background with expertise in channel sales, distributor management, team handling, and business development. Candidates from small or mid-sized FMCG companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive zonal sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for business growth.
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and channel partners.
- Lead and mentor Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Officers.
- Increase market penetration and expand distribution.
- Monitor primary and secondary sales, stock availability, and collections.
- Ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives.




- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Build robust relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business reviews.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Candidate Profile
- MBA/PGDM from a Tier I or Tier II Management Institute.
- 815 years of experience in FMCG sales.
- Currently working as a Zonal Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or an experienced Area Sales Manager.
- Proven experience in channel sales, distributor management, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel extensively within the assigned region.
