X-RAY TECHNICIAN –

Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Department: Radiology / X-Ray

Reports To: Hospital Administrator / Radiologist / Medical Officer

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform X-ray examinations as prescribed by doctors.
- Verify patient details and ensure the correct examination is performed.
- Explain the procedure to patients and ensure proper positioning.
- Operate and maintain the X-ray machine safely.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective equipment.
- Ensure good-quality X-ray images for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain X-ray records, registers, and patient reports.
- Keep the X-ray room and equipment clean and organized.
- Check equipment regularly and report any technical problems.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control practices, and safety procedures.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and qualified conduct.
- Handle emergency X-ray requests when required.

Qualification:

- Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Valid registration/certification as applicable.

Skills:

- Good knowledge of X-ray procedures and positioning.
- Knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work in emergency situations.
- Basic computer and record-maintenance skills.

Experience: Freshers / Experienced candidates can be considered as per hospital requirements.

Pay: From ₹11,000.00 per month
