Workday HCM Core Functional

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Work Location: Chennai / Andheri - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- Understand Workday release mechanics, including Preview Tenants, Feature Activation, Backwards Compatibility, and Known Issue Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM functional areas:

Core HR

- Payroll, including integrations

- Talent

- Absence
- Understand the Workday integration framework, including:

- Workday Studio

- EIB

- Core Connectors
- Assess the impact of Workday releases on existing integrations and business processes.
- Read and interpret Workday Release Notes and translate them into business and technical impact assessments.
- Navigate Workday Community for release documentation, Known Issues, and Workday Brainstorm.




- Apply release management frameworks such as ITIL, Secure, or equivalent in SaaS environments.
- Lead Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and Go/No-Go governance forums.
- Manage cross-functional and cross-geography dependencies in complex matrix organizations.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project/release risks.
