Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Workday Extend Solution Lead / Architect with strong expertise in designing and delivering Workday Extend solutions. The candidate will be responsible for leading multiple Workday Extend implementations, defining technical architecture, establishing design standards, and providing technical guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of Workday HCM, Workday Extend, integrations, security, workflows, data design, performance optimization, and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and provide technical direction for multiple Workday Extend implementations.
- Design scalable and maintainable solutions using Workday Extend.
- Define and implement appropriate solution design patterns and technical best practices.
- Evaluate Workday Extend platform capabilities, limitations, and constraints.
- Identify platform limitations and recommend suitable alternative technical approaches.
- Design solutions covering security, integrations, workflows, and data architecture.
- Ensure solutions follow Workday technical and architectural standards.




- Design applications with focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Conduct detailed technical design and architecture reviews.
- Review proposed solutions and provide recommendations for technical improvements.
- Identify technical risks, challenges, dependencies, and potential implementation issues at an early stage.
- Work with development teams to resolve technical challenges and provide architectural guidance.
- Support developers with technical decisions, design questions, troubleshooting, and implementation issues.
- Ensure quality and consistency across Workday Extend implementations.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements while adhering to Workday platform capabilities and best practices.
