Job Summary

Henceforth Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a WordPress Developer with 1–3 years of experience to work on frontend and backend development of WordPress websites and web applications.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, MySQL, responsive web development, and website customization. Strong programming fundamentals, logical problem-solving ability, and basic knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) are also required.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Work on both frontend and backend development.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Convert Figma, PSD, or other design files into responsive websites.
- Develop frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Develop backend functionality using PHP and WordPress.
- Work with MySQL databases and queries.
- Customize WooCommerce features when required.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services.
- Identify and resolve frontend and backend issues.
- Perform website maintenance, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Follow coding standards and use Git for version control.
- Work with designers, QA, project coordinators, and other developers.

Required Skills
- 1–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Positive knowledge of WordPress and PHP.
- Good understanding of frontend and backend development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Working knowledge of MySQL.




- Experience with WordPress themes and plugin customization.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Programming and Logical Skills
- Clear understanding of programming fundamentals.
- Good logical and analytical thinking.
- Basic knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Understanding of arrays, strings, loops, functions, objects, searching, and sorting.
- Ability to understand existing code and identify logical or technical issues.
- Ability to develop practical and efficient solutions to programming problems.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with ACF and Custom Post Types.
- Knowledge of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
- Experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
- Basic understanding of website performance and security.
- Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly development practices.
