Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites from designs, layouts, and requirements.
- Build websites using Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
- Customise WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Develop and manage WooCommerce websites, including products, variations, checkout, payment gateways, and basic integrations.
- Create custom post types, templates, forms, and website functionality where required.
- Ensure websites are responsive and cross-browser compatible.
- Optimise websites for speed, performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Troubleshoot and fix WordPress errors, plugin conflicts, layout issues, and technical problems.
- Perform website updates, backups, security checks, and ongoing maintenance.
- Work closely with designers, SEO specialists, project managers, and clients.
- Follow development best practices and maintain clean, organised code.
- Test websites thoroughly before launch and ensure all functionality works correctly.
- Handle website migrations, domain/DNS-related development tasks, and hosting environments when required.

Required Skills
- Good working knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Understanding of responsive website development.
- Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins.




- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues independently.
- Basic understanding of website speed optimisation and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with hosting panels, FTP, DNS, SSL, and website migrations.
- Valuable understanding of website security and WordPress best practices.

Good to Have
- Experience converting Figma designs to WordPress.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes or plugins.
- Experience with ACF, custom post types, and dynamic content.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Experience with Shopify or other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Experience working with international clients or white-label agencies.
- Familiarity with AI tools that can improve development productivity.
