We are seeking an experienced FAPI L1/L2 UE Simulator Developer with solid expertise in 5G NR/LTE protocol stack development, particularly in PHY (Layer 1) and MAC (Layer 2) domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and integrating UE simulators, working with SCF FAPI specifications, and implementing PHY-MAC interfaces for wireless communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance UE Simulator solutions for 5G NR and LTE networks.
- Develop and maintain software modules for Layer 1 (PHY) and Layer 2 (MAC) functionalities.
- Implement and integrate SCF FAPI-compliant interfaces between PHY and MAC layers.
- Work on nFAPI (P5/P7) interfaces and ensure seamless communication between network components.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize protocol stack performance.
- Participate in feature development,
debugging, validation, and system integration activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including protocol, system, and test engineering teams.
- Support interoperability testing, protocol validation, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
- Strong programming expertise in C++.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and operating system concepts.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and debugging tools.
- Experience in Layer 1 (PHY) and Layer 2 (MAC) protocol development.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
