Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Administrator with extensive knowledge in VMware and a strong background in Windows upgrades. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Windows infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and implementing best practices for hardening and vulnerability remediation. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving Windows-related issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of our IT workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Oversee the planning and execution of Windows upgrades and migrations.
- Implement and enforce security policies, including hardening and vulnerability remediation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows issues, providing timely support to end-users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.




- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Windows administration and virtualization.

Mandatory Skills:

- Expertise in Windows Server administration and management.
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating system issues.
- Experience with Windows upgrade processes and methodologies.
- Understanding of security best practices, hardening techniques, and vulnerability management.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and hybrid environments.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or VMware Certified Professional.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Windows administration or VMware technologies are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
