Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, panels, machines, motors, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.

- Identify electrical faults and perform timely corrective actions to minimize machine downtime.

- Inspect electrical equipment, cables, switches, MCBs, MCC panels, control panels, contactors, relays, and other components.

- Handle electrical maintenance of industrial machines, production equipment, compressors, pumps, generators, and other utility equipment.

- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.

- Perform testing of electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate electrical testing instruments.

- Ensure proper earthing, electrical connections, insulation, and safe operation of equipment.

- Maintain electrical tools, spare parts, and maintenance records.

- Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams for planned and breakdown maintenance activities.

- Maintain proper documentation of electrical maintenance work, breakdowns, repairs, and spare consumption.

- Ensure compliance with company electrical safety procedures and applicable safety standards.





- Immediately report unsafe electrical conditions, damaged equipment, or potential hazards to the concerned supervisor.

- Support installation and commissioning of new electrical machines and equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around electrical panels and maintenance areas.

- Work in shifts and attend emergency electrical breakdowns whenever required.

Preventive Maintenance Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspection of electrical panels, motors, cables, machines, and electrical installations.

- Check loose connections, overheating, abnormal noise, voltage/current fluctuations, and other electrical abnormalities.

- Perform scheduled servicing and replacement of electrical components.

- Maintain preventive maintenance checklists and records.

- Ensure critical electrical equipment remains operational and reliable.

Required Qualification

- ITI – Electrician / Electrical Trade.

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.

- Relevant industrial electrical maintenance certification is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
