Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Shopify & WordPress Website Developer Intern who is interested in building and managing e-commerce websites.
The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of website development and Shopify and should be comfortable working on simple website-related tasks independently.
Knowledge of WordPress will be an added advantage.
You will work closely with our website development and marketing teams on real client projects. Advanced development tasks will be taught and guided by the team as you gain experience.
This is a learning-focused role where you will get hands-on experience working on Shopify stores, WordPress websites, e-commerce websites, landing pages, website updates, and client requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Website Development
● Assist in creating and managing Shopify websites
● Work on Shopify themes and basic theme customization
● Add and update:
○ Products
○ Collections
○ Product descriptions
○ Images
○ Pricing
○ Product variants
● Make basic changes to Shopify store layouts and sections
● Assist with Shopify store settings and configurations
● Create and update basic pages such as:
○ Home Page
○ About Us
○ Contact Us
○ Product Pages
○ Policy Pages
● Assist in implementing client requirements on Shopify websites
● Check websites for basic functionality and errors
● Perform basic website updates and maintenance
WordPress Website Development
● Assist in creating and managing WordPress websites
● Make basic content and layout updates
● Work with WordPress themes and plugins
● Add and update website pages and content
● Assist with basic website customization
● Troubleshoot basic WordPress-related issues
● Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
E-Commerce Website Support
● Assist in building and maintaining e-commerce websites
● Update product catalogs and website content
● Check product pages for errors and missing information
● Assist in creating landing pages for marketing campaigns
● Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and properly structured
● Test website pages, buttons, forms, and basic functionality
● Coordinate with the performance marketing and creative teams for website requirements
Client Project Support
● Work on website-related tasks for different client brands
● Understand client requirements provided by the team
● Implement assigned website changes within deadlines
● Take feedback and make required revisions
● Coordinate with the design and marketing teams
● Maintain proper organization of website assets and project files
Experience Required
● Freshers are welcome to apply
● Internship or freelance experience in Shopify / WordPress is a plus
● Basic knowledge of Shopify is preferred
● Basic knowledge of website development is required
● Knowledge of WordPress is an added advantage
● Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred
● Basic knowledge of JavaScript is a plus
● Should be willing to learn new tools and technologies
● Practical projects or a portfolio will be an advantage

You don't need to be an advanced developer. However, you should have a basic understanding of Shopify and website development and be able to handle simple tasks with guidance.
Knowledge of WordPress is an added advantage.
