Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Weaving Preparatory operations during the assigned shift.

- Monitor preparatory processes such as warping, sizing, and related activities.

- Ensure smooth running of machines and minimize breakdowns, stoppages, and production losses.

- Monitor production as per planned targets and ensure timely completion.

- Supervise and allocate manpower according to shift requirements.

- Monitor yarn quality, beam quality, sizing parameters, and process parameters.

- Coordinate with Weaving, Maintenance, Quality, and Production Planning teams for smooth operations.

- Identify and resolve operational issues and escalate major technical problems to the concerned department.

- Maintain production records, shift reports, machine performance records, and other required documentation.





- Monitor wastage and take corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.

- Conduct proper shift handover and communicate pending issues to the next shift.

- Train and guide operators/workers regarding proper machine and process practices.

Preferred candidate profile

- Basic knowledge of Weaving Preparatory processes.

- Knowledge of Warping and Sizing operations.

- Understanding of yarn, beam, and weaving preparation processes.

- Basic knowledge of machine settings, process parameters, and quality control.

- Manpower handling and shift management skills.

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.

- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain production reports.
