We are looking for a detail-oriented Warranty Executive to manage warranty claims, documentation, approvals, and coordination with the manufacturer. The candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of warranty claims while maintaining compliance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and submit warranty claims within the required timelines.
- Verify warranty eligibility based on manufacturer policies and guidelines.
- Prepare accurate warranty claim documentation and supporting records.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Workshop teams for claim processing.
- Coordinate with the manufacturer warranty department for approvals and clarifications.
- Follow up on pending, rejected, or returned warranty claims.
- Maintain proper records of warranty claims, approvals, rejections, and payments.
- Ensure correct warranty job card creation and closure.
- Verify parts replaced under warranty and maintain required documentation.
- Monitor warranty parts return and storage procedures.
- Identify reasons for claim rejection and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with OEM warranty policies, procedures,
and audit requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warranty reports.
- Monitor warranty claim ageing and ensure timely closure.
- Assist during manufacturer warranty audits and inspections.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of warranty-related records.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile dealership warranty operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle warranty policies and claim procedures.
- Basic knowledge of automobile service and repair processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Robust attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Excel and dealership DMS.
- Ability to follow manufacturer guidelines and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
