Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

- Supervise daily warehouse operations including inward, storage, inventory, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space and material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper GRN, inward, and outward documentation.

2. Production & Factory Floor Management

- Supervise daily production and assembly activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines.
- Coordinate with production, QC, procurement, and sales departments.
- Monitor workflow and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

3. Inventory Control

- Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize stock losses.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory.

4. Dispatch & Logistics

- Prepare daily dispatch plans based on customer commitments.
- Coordinate transportation and shipment scheduling.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
- Monitor delivery performance and resolve logistics issues promptly.

5. Team Management

- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse supervisors, operators, helpers, and contract labour.
- Allocate daily work responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement.




- Maintain discipline, teamwork, and employee morale on the factory floor.

6. Vendor & Procurement Coordination

- Coordinate with suppliers for timely availability of materials.
- Follow up with vendors regarding deliveries and quality issues.
- Support procurement in sourcing and material planning.
- Build robust vendor relationships to ensure uninterrupted operations.

7. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with QC team for inspections and corrective actions.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness, safety, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines across the warehouse.

8. Cost & Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities for reducing operational costs.
- Improve warehouse productivity and space utilization.
- Recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Minimize wastage and improve operational turnaround time.

9. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain warehouse MIS reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track warehouse KPIs and present performance updates to management.
- Ensure all documentation related to inventory, dispatch, procurement, and production is accurate and updated.
