Location: Oragadam / Walajabad / Sriperumbudur, Chennai Function: HR – Talent Acquisition / Workforce Mobilisation Employment: Full-time Reporting: Business / Staffing Operations Head Joining: Within 30 days Role Purpose Lead end-to-end mass recruitment and workforce mobilisation for a large electronics manufacturing operation, with an immediate mandate to onboard 300 employees , scaling to 500–1,000 workforce . The role requires a hands-on professional with strong field mobilisation, local labour-market networks, team leadership, onboarding and retention experience. Key Responsibilities Drive 300 hires within aggressive timelines and build a scalable recruitment pipeline. Manage the complete funnel: sourcing → screening → selection → documentation → onboarding → joining → retention . Conduct field recruitment drives, walk-ins and mobilisation camps across Oragadam, Walajabad, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu and surrounding areas. Build robust networks with ITIs, colleges,



skill centres, community groups and local referral networks . Lead and manage 3–5 field recruiters/mobilisers , with daily targets and performance reviews. Focus strongly on women workforce mobilisation , with an indicative target of 55% women / 45% men, subject to job-related selection criteria. Manage high-volume onboarding including documentation, PF/ESI, medicals, induction and payroll handover . Track joining, Day-7, Day-30 and Day-90 retention , identify attrition reasons and implement corrective actions. Maintain recruitment MIS/dashboard covering source, geography, recruiter, selection, joining and retention. Support development of career and skill-development pathways for shop-floor employees.
