Job Title: Unix / RedHat Linux Administrator (BAU Support) Experience: 4-8 Years Location: PAN India Role Type: L2/L3 BAU Support Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Unix / RedHat Linux Administrator with 4-8 years of experience in managing and supporting enterprise Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for BAU operations, incident management, OS administration, patching, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of Linux servers Key Responsibilities Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) production environments. Perform Linux server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance. Handle BAU activities, incidents, service requests, problem management, and change implementation. Administer LVM, NFS, Samba, DNS, NTP, LDAP, and user account management . Monitor system performance, server health, capacity utilization, and availability. Troubleshoot OS, filesystem, network, boot, and application-related issues.



Perform server hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities. Manage backup, restore, DR validation, and recovery procedures. Support cloud-hosted Linux environments and virtualized infrastructure. Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and RCA reports. Required Skills Strong experience in RHEL 7/8/9 Administration . Expertise in Linux troubleshooting and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with LVM, NFS, Samba, DNS, NTP, SSH, Cron Jobs . Knowledge of OS patching, package management (YUM/RPM), and server hardening. Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms. Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management). Experience working in 24x7 production support environments. Positive scripting knowledge in Shell/Bash .
