We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented fresh graduates to join our Medical Coding team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes while ensuring coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records and documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer regulations.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve coding discrepancies.
- Stay updated on coding changes and healthcare regulations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate claim processing.
Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers with Life Science backgrounds:
- B.Sc. (Biotechnology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nursing,
Allied Health Sciences, etc.)
- M.Sc. Life Sciences
- BPT, BOT, B.Pharm, M.Pharm
- CPC Certification Mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- Basic understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding concepts.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to healthcare processes.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred
- Active CPC Certification (AAPC).
- Internship or training in Medical Coding.
