Job Role International Tour Consultant (Short Haul)

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle customer enquiries for international tour packages.

- Understand clients travel requirements, budget, dates, and preferences.

- Prepare and sell customized and fixed tour packages.

- Handle destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Bali, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Maldives, etc.

- Prepare quotations, itineraries, costing, and travel proposals.

- Coordinate flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, activities, and visas.

- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.

- Negotiate with clients and suppliers to achieve the best rates.

- Coordinate with overseas DMCs, hotels, airlines, and other vendors.

- Maintain proper records of enquiries, follow-ups, bookings, and payments.





- Ensure smooth pre-departure coordination and customer support.

- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.

- Handle customer queries and resolve issues before and during the trip.

Skills Required

- Good knowledge of short-haul international destinations.

- Strong sales and communication skills.

- Experience in preparing tour costing and itineraries.

- Knowledge of GDS/air ticketing is an advantage.

- Knowledge of visa requirements and travel documentation.

- Valuable negotiation and convincing ability.

- Customer-service orientation.

- Experience with travel CRM/lead management systems.
