Join Cotiviti's Engineering team building a multi-tenant SaaS platform that transforms healthcare claims risk capture and adjustment. You'll design and implement solutions for payer and provider systems, working autonomously to deliver scalable features that analyze administrative documentation and patient medical records to improve care delivery.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement features for healthcare payer and provider solutions.

Build scalable, high-quality backend code in Java.

Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers on infrastructure, security, and CI/CD pipelines.

Partner with Product Management and Innovation teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Deliver sprint commitments including design, coding, review, testing, and automation.

Maintain and troubleshoot development and production environments.

Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve operational issues.

Mandatory Skillset (Java-Heavy):

- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Solid proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (Boot, Cloud, JPA).




- Microservices architecture for high availability and scalability, RESTful API development.
- Relational database design and development using Oracle.
- Basic working knowledge of React for UI development.
- Proven experience building consumer-grade web applications with HTML5/CSS. Git version control.
- Track record delivering customer-facing applications and supporting production systems.
- Autonomous problem-solvers require minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Thrives in agile environments.

Good To Have:

- AWS cloud services (e.g., SQS, RDS, EC2, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
- OpenSearch.
- Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation/tooling.
- Advanced React experience (state management, component architecture, hooks). CI/CD automation experience.
- Infrastructure administration and troubleshooting (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
