Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain features, services, and integrations across a digital platform application • Take ownership of the components and features you build, including their code quality, reliability, and documentation • Build and support APIs, data flows, and system integrations under the guidance of senior engineers • Translate business requirements and user stories into working, well-tested code • Help modernize and evolve the application as the technology landscape changes, including work to move it onto newer platforms and architectures • Contribute to intelligent, AI-driven capabilities in the application, from automating routine tasks to features that act on the user's behalf • Support web performance improvements such as caching, CDN usage, and page speed • Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions within AWS environments • Write unit and integration tests and maintain testing coverage and documentation standards • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Troubleshoot and resolve system and integration issues • Follow data integrity, reliability, and security best practices • Develop and maintain custom themes, plugins,



and extensions within CMS platforms where the current application requires it • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, vendors, and other IT teams • Use automation and emerging AI tools to improve your development efficiency

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 4 to 6 years of experience in software engineering • Proficiency in modern web development: JavaScript/TypeScript, a up-to-date frontend framework (React or similar), and a backend language such as Python or Node.js • Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and system integrations • Hands-on experience developing web applications in cloud environments • Hands-on with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudFront, or Lambda, and basic networking concepts • Comfortable working with AI or intelligent automation in applications, or a solid appetite to build this depth • Solid problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms (PHP) is helpful, sufficient to work on a CMS-based application • Comfortable working within structured IT environments and cross-functional teams
