About the Department:

Financial Process Services (FPS) is a vertical of TresVista that works with major clients in the spectrum of the financial services industry. FPS caters to their needs related to accounting & financial data extraction and spreading and enables holistic view based on summarized data & information which is consumed at various levels and by finance professionals. Exposure to processes related to core finance and accounting clubbed with creative techniques and software adds value to the professional growth of aspirants looking for a career in the industry of finance.

Responsibilities Assumed:

- Technical Understanding:o Analyzing and spreading the financial statements in the client database o Understanding the correlation between the three financial statements (IS, BS, CF) to identify any inconsistencies while capturing or tagging line items o Reading and interpreting information from accompanying notes/schedule for a deeper understanding of financial metric o Understanding the company’s capital structure, debt details, and identifying related metrics and covenants of debt issued o Ability to understand and differentiate the terminologies associated with financial statements (e.g., proforma statement, Adjusted v/s Reported EBITDA, carrying value of debt, interest spread, coupon, etc.)

o Ability to work on proprietary and third-party software designed to cater to finance industry o Collating financial information and KPIs from broker reports, management call transcripts, and news articles o Overseeing journal entries, PO requisitions, vendor creations,



and payment reconciliations o Reviewing and approving vendor and other expenses booked in CRM o Creating processes to optimize financial workflows o Ensuring quality and accuracy of data o Maximizing team productivity and ensuring communication guidelines and timelines (TAT's) are adhered o Able to remedy project-related escalation by assigning the right resources and providing quality review o Demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to changes in the market. Challenge existing processes and mindset and display imagination and thoughtfulness to bring innovation o Working with senior people in the company and the clients directly to undertake key projects related to financial data management, bookkeeping, and reporting services

• Project Management:o Defining the scope of engagements, managing timelines, and ensuring timely delivery o Ensuring efficient and effective execution of all key aspects of client deliverables o Providing quality oversight on projects and document timely and continuous feedback for performance improvement

• Managing Client Relationships: o Retaining and expanding existing client relationships by increasing integration

- Team Management and Leadership:





o Working closely with new Associates and guiding them on day-to-day project management and delivery o Mentoring, training, and developing the Associates and Analysts o Managing team issues effectively o Contributing to the overall operational strategy for data quality function and responsible for the implementation of the strategy within the team

Prerequisites: Proficient with the English language and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Sound knowledge of accounting concepts; well versed with financial terms

 Experienced in financial statement analysis

 Commitment and ownership

 Strong eye for detail and ability to multi-task

 Ability to meet client-driven deadlines (demanding hours requiring time management skills)

Experience: An MBA (preferably in Finance) with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience, Or

 10+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree preferably in finance or accounting field

Education:Any graduate/MBA with finance specialization
