Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Tool Room professional with expertise in graphite component machining. The candidate will be responsible for VMC setup, precision machining, tooling, programming, and inspection of graphite components while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and set up VMC machines for precision graphite component machining.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.

- Prepare machine setups, fixtures, tools, and workholding arrangements.

- Develop and modify CNC/VMC programs for graphite machining.

- Select suitable cutting tools and optimize machining parameters.

- Set tool offsets and perform job prove-out and corrections.

- Manufacture components as per specified dimensions and tolerances.

- Carry out in-process inspection using appropriate precision measuring instruments.

- Monitor tool wear, machining accuracy, surface finish, and component quality.

- Troubleshoot machining and dimensional issues.

- Maintain tool-room equipment, tools, fixtures, and machines.





- Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet delivery and quality requirements.

- Maintain proper machining records and follow safety procedures.

- Minimize material wastage and optimize machining time.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in VMC machining of graphite components.

- Good knowledge of CNC/VMC programming, setup, and tool offsets.

- Understanding of graphite machining techniques and tooling.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Strong knowledge of precision measurement and inspection.

- Experience with tight-tolerance machining.

- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage production priorities.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in VMC, tool room, and precision machining.

- Experience specifically in graphite component manufacturing will be preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
