About The Job:

- Experience: 5 to 12 years

​Responsible for supporting, administering, optimizing, and securing enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure environments built on Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Nerdio platforms.

- Ensures high availability, performance, security, compliance, and operational excellence across virtual workspace environments.
- Works closely with infrastructure, security, cloud, and support teams to deliver reliable and scalable end-user computing services.

1.) Requirement L2:

Essential Job Functions – L2:

- Provide advanced technical support for Citrix Virtual Desktops environments.
- Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement solutions for complex incidents and operational issues.
- Troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure, virtual desktops, applications, and connectivity-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other support teams to resolve escalated incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Support security compliance and maintain a strong virtual desktop security posture.
- Maintain and enhance technical knowledge articles and operational documentation.
- Participate in knowledge management initiatives and support onboarding of new team members.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts on troubleshooting methodologies and best practices.
- Drive customer satisfaction through timely incident resolution and service excellence.
- Reduce ticket reopens, rejected resolutions, and recurring incidents.
- Proactively identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and operational risks.

Qualifications – L2:
- Proficient in Citrix Virtual Desktops Essentials administration and support.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of incident and problem management processes.




- Familiarity with security protocols and best practices within virtual desktop environments.
- Strong customer service, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting SLA commitments.

Preferred Certifications – L2:
- Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V).
- ITIL Foundation Certification.

2.) Requirement L3:

Essential Job Functions – L3:

- Lead end-to-end administration and operations of Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Nerdio environments.
- Architect, design, and optimize virtual desktop infrastructure solutions to support business and operational requirements.
- Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, FSLogix profiles, Nerdio Manager, and Microsoft Azure ecosystem components.
- Provide expert-level support for high-severity incidents and complex infrastructure challenges.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and environment optimization.
- Lead migration, upgrade, deployment, and modernization initiatives across VDI platforms.
- Implement automation and process improvement initiatives using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and cloud-native tools.
- Design and enforce security, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Develop monitoring, reporting, and operational dashboards to improve service visibility and performance.
- Partner with cloud, network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Mentor L1 and L2 engineers and provide advanced technical leadership.
- Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies within End User Computing (EUC) environments.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable virtual workspace solutions.

Qualifications – L3:
- Expert-level knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture, deployment, and administration.
- Hands-on expertise with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise or MSP environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.




- Experience with FSLogix profile management and optimization.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Experience with virtual desktop security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with monitoring, reporting, analytics, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale VDI transformation and optimization projects.

Preferred Certifications – L3:
- Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V).
- Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Nerdio Technical Certifications.
- ITIL Foundation / ITIL Intermediate Certifications.
