What this job actually isYou operate the camera. You run the gimbal. You light and mic a two-person podcast set. You direct founders who go stiff the moment the record light turns on. Then you take that footage home and cut it.

If you have only edited footage that someone else shot, this is not your role. If your camera experience is still photography, this is not your role. If your portfolio is Photoshop and Canva work with a few reels attached, this is not your role.

Our clients are the people in front of your camera. Founders, investors, industry leaders. You will not be cutting stock footage for a brand you never meet. You will be in the room, running the shoot, and your work will go out under names people recognise.

ResponsibilitiesOn set

- Plan the shoot. Shot list, script, location recce, gear check, all before the day
- Operate camera. Own your framing, exposure and focus
- Light interviews, podcasts, product and founder shoots in real rooms with real constraints
- Record clean audio. Lav, shotgun, recorder. Audio failures are not fixable in post and we treat them that way
- Run gimbal for movement work
- Direct non-actors. Get a nervous founder talking like a person inside ten minutes

In the edit

- Cut reels, shorts, podcast episodes, interviews, testimonials, event films and brand films
- Colour grade. Clean and mix audio. Add motion graphics, captions,



transitions and sound design
- Deliver platform-ready, on schedule, across Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube

Around it

- Design static creatives, carousels, thumbnails and covers that sit inside each client's brand system
- Bring ideas to planning sessions. Turn a founder's rough insight into a visual story
- Manage gear, schedules, footage archives and your own deadlines across multiple accounts

Must have
- 2 to 5 years shooting and editing professional video
- Hands-on operation of mirrorless or cinema cameras. You should be able to name the bodies and lenses you have used
- Gimbal experience. DJI RS series, Ronin, Crane or equivalent
- Working knowledge of lighting. Key, fill, practicals, and what to do when the room fights you

- Professional audio capture and cleanup
- Premiere Pro and After Effects at working speed
- Photoshop and Illustrator for design output
- CapCut and Canva for fast mobile-first turnarounds
- Clear spoken and written English. You will take briefs live from founders and write shoot scripts
- A portfolio containing work you both shot and edited
