Key Responsibilities

- Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, and social media.
- Can create AI visuals to make video more interacting .
- Create engaging and visually appealing short-form content.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, sound effects, music, and animations where required.
- Create videos that match Satmi’s brand identity and visual style.
- Understand the objective of each video and create edits focused on engagement and conversions.
- Select the best clips, shots, music, and hooks to make videos more engaging.
- Work with the marketing and creative team to develop video concepts.
- Take feedback and make revisions within the required timelines.
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, editing styles, hooks, sounds, and content formats.
- Ensure all final videos are delivered in the required formats, dimensions, and quality.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience as a Video Editor.




- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut or similar editing tools.
- Good understanding of short-form video content.
- Solid sense of timing, storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Understanding of social media trends and content formats.
- Ability to create attention-grabbing hooks in the first few seconds.
- Basic understanding of sound design, color correction, typography, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and ability to work with a creative team.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment with new editing styles.

Good to Have

- Experience working with a D2C/E-commerce brand.
- Experience creating performance marketing ads.
- Experience editing UGC and influencer content.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Understanding of what makes a video perform well on Instagram and YouTube.
- Basic understanding of AI video/editing tools.
