Pacific Malls Group is looking for a creative, fast and digitally savvy Video Editor who knows how to turn raw footage into content people actually want to watch.

From high-energy event films and Instagram Reels to campaign videos, influencer content and mall launches, you’ll be responsible for bringing Pacific’s stories to life through sharp edits, strong visual storytelling and an understanding of what works on digital.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just know editing software, but understands pace, music, trends, storytelling and attention spans.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, short-form videos, campaign films, event videos and promotional content.
- Create content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Edit videos for mall launches, events, festivals, fashion campaigns, F&B;, entertainment, sales and brand initiatives.
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos with strong pacing, transitions, music, typography and storytelling.
- Create motion graphics, animated text, supers, end frames and basic visual effects wherever required.
- Edit influencer and creator-led content in formats suitable for social media.
- Create multiple versions and adaptations of videos across 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 formats.
- Work closely with the marketing, social media, design and content teams to understand briefs and translate concepts into videos.
- Select appropriate music, sound effects, footage and visual treatments to enhance the final output.
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading and audio balancing.
- Stay updated with Reels trends, editing styles, transitions, music trends and emerging social media formats.
- Manage and organise footage, project files and final video assets systematically.




- Handle multiple projects while meeting quick turnaround timelines for social and topical content.

Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of professional video editing experience, preferably with a digital/creative agency, production house, retail, fashion, lifestyle or entertainment brand.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation.
- Knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator will be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of short-form and social-first video editing.
- Good sense of music, rhythm, pacing, typography and visual composition.
- Experience with colour correction, sound design and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to take a project from raw footage to final export independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple brands/properties and deadlines.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video and creative tools will be an added advantage.

What We’re Looking For Someone who knows that a Reel has about two seconds to earn the next two seconds.

Someone who can turn ordinary event footage into an exciting 30-second film, knows when a transition adds value—and when it’s just a transition for the sake of it.

You should have an eye for fashion, food, lifestyle, entertainment, culture and social trends, because those are a big part of the world you'll be editing.

Most importantly, we want an editor who brings ideas to the table, rather than simply waiting for an edit brief.

Portfolio Requirement A showreel / portfolio is mandatory.
