Role Description The Video Editor role at Global Trendz is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished video content, applying color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements that align with brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements, organizing and managing media assets, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality videos for web, mobile,



and social media platforms. The role also involves contributing ideas to improve visual storytelling, maintaining consistency in style across projects, and staying current with trends and best practices in video production and digital content.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual tone, mood, and overall aesthetic quality of the content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, titles, overlays, and animated assets.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, good visual storytelling instincts, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
