Job Title: Veterinary Pharmacist / Pharmacy Executive

Location: SUPERPETS – Veterinary Multi-Speciality LLP, Khar West, Mumbai

Experience Required: Minimum 1–3 years' experience working specifically in a veterinary pharmacy (hospital/clinic pharmacy handling animal medicines) — candidates from human/retail pharmacy background will not be considered unless they have relevant vet pharmacy exposure.

Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm (mandatory); registration with Pharmacy Council preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense medications accurately as prescribed by veterinarians, with correct dosage instructions for different species (dogs, cats, exotics, etc.)
- Maintain inventory of vet medicines, vaccines, supplements, and consumables — track stock levels, expiry dates, and reordering
- Ensure proper storage conditions (cold chain for vaccines/injectables, controlled substances handling)
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and statutory registers as per drug license requirements
- Coordinate with distributors/suppliers for procurement of veterinary drugs




- Guide pet owners on medication usage, dosage schedules, and storage at home
- Ensure compliance with applicable drug and pharmacy regulations
- Assist vets with billing and prescription documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy counter/storage area

Skills Required:

- Sound knowledge of veterinary drug names, dosages, and drug interactions across species
- Familiarity with vet-specific formulations (different from human pharmacy)
- Basic computer skills (billing software, inventory management)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills to explain medication instructions to pet parents

Preferred:

- Experience working in a veterinary hospital, animal clinic pharmacy, or vet pharma distribution
- Knowledge of vaccination protocols and cold-chain handling

Pay: ₹8,219.12 - ₹20,535.43 per month
