About the Role We are looking for an experienced Vendor Manager to manage and strengthen the company’s vendor network for interior projects. The role will be responsible for vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, coordination, performance monitoring and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities Identify, source and onboard reliable vendors, contractors, suppliers and service partners for interior projects. Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, capacity, reliability, turnaround time and past performance. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms and service-level expectations with vendors. Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and develop new vendor partnerships as required. Coordinate with design, procurement, project and operations teams to understand material and service requirements. Track purchase orders, material availability, delivery schedules and vendor commitments to support timely project execution. Monitor vendor performance, quality standards and adherence to agreed timelines and commercial terms. Resolve vendor-related issues, delays, quality concerns and commercial discrepancies effectively. Maintain an updated vendor database, quotations, comparative statements, agreements and performance records. Conduct regular market research to identify competitive pricing, current suppliers and alternative sourcing options. Ensure vendors comply with company policies, project specifications and applicable quality and safety requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications 2–4 years of relevant experience in vendor management, procurement, sourcing or supplier coordination.



Experience in the interior design, interior execution, construction, furniture or related industry is preferred. Strong negotiation, vendor relationship management and communication skills. Good understanding of procurement processes, quotations, pricing and commercial negotiations.

Strong coordination and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously.

- Good analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to cost, quality and timelines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation/reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive, commercially aware, well-organized and confident in dealing with vendors and contractors. A strong understanding of the Bangalore vendor market and the ability to build long-term supplier relationships will be an advantage.
