About The Job:
- Candidate should have minimum 10+ years of experience in VDI, RDS, and Remote Application Delivery environments, with strong expertise in enterprise-scale virtual desktop infrastructure, performance optimization, and user experience transformation programs.

Essential Job Functions:
- Design and manage enterprise VDI and RDS infrastructure.
- Define architecture for:
- High availability
- Scalability
- Performance optimization
- Deploy and configure:
- Session hosts
- Connection brokers
- Gateways
- Configure:
- Golden images
- Templates
- Pool management
- Publish virtual applications and desktops.
- Manage application compatibility.
- Ensure seamless access for business-critical applications.
- Act as escalation point for:
- VDI outages
- Session failures
- Login issues
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Resolve complex multi-layer issues.
Governance, Documentation & Standards
- Define and maintain device management standards, policies, and operational guidelines.
- Review and approve L2 procedures, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Ensure accurate documentation of:
- Architecture diagrams
- Configuration baselines
- Known issues and workarounds
- Support audits, factory compliance reviews, and internal governance requirements.
Leadership & Knowledge Enablement
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L2 support teams.
- Act as a key technical advisor to factory stakeholders, IT leadership, and security teams.
- Support onboarding of new factories, device types, or production use cases.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in VDI practices.
Qualifications:
- B-Tech or any equivalent bachelor’s degree.
Skill Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in VDI, RDS, and Remote Application Delivery environments.
- Strong expertise in enterprise-scale virtual desktop infrastructure, performance optimization, and user experience transformation programs.
- Hands-on expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, VMware Horizon, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Strong experience in Microsoft RDS environments.
- Experience with Intune and SCCM.
- PowerShell automation and scripting expertise.
- Strong understanding of ControlUp, Citrix Director, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 VDI optimization.
- Strong networking knowledge including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and proxy integration.
