Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VBA, Power Automate & Python Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in developing automation solutions, workflow automation, data processing, and business process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Excel VBA, Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop), and Python, along with practical experience in automating business processes across SAP, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft 365, and web-based applications.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, identifying automation opportunities, developing scalable solutions, integrating multiple systems, and continuously improving existing processes to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Excel VBA & Macro Development

- Design, develop, test, and maintain advanced Excel VBA macros and automation solutions.
- Automate repetitive Excel-based business processes, calculations, reporting, and data management activities.
- Develop automated Excel reports, dashboards, templates, and data validation tools.
- Work with UserForms, Class Modules, File Handling, Arrays, Collections, and Excel Objects.
- Automate interactions between Excel and Outlook, Access, SAP, and other business applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing VBA applications and macros.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of VBA-based solutions.

2. Power Automate – Cloud & Desktop

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power Automate Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows.
- Develop automated workflows for business processes using event-based, scheduled, and approval-driven triggers.
- Build RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop to automate repetitive desktop and application-based activities.
- Integrate Power Automate with SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft 365, Teams, and other applications.
- Develop approval workflows, notifications, escalations, reminders, and exception-handling processes.
- Monitor automated workflows and troubleshoot failures, performance issues, and integration errors.
- Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with scalable workflow and RPA solutions.

3. Python Automation & Development

- Develop Python-based automation solutions for data processing, reporting, file handling, system integration, and workflow automation.
- Use libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL, and other relevant Python packages.
- Develop scripts for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading business data.
- Automate Excel and other file-based processes using Python.
- Develop solutions for web-based automation and data extraction using tools such as Selenium.
- Integrate applications and systems through REST APIs and other APIs.
- Develop reusable and maintainable Python scripts for business process automation.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Python automation solutions.

4. SAP & Business Application Automation

- Develop automation solutions involving SAP and other ERP/business applications.




- Automate data extraction, processing, validation, reporting, and transaction-related activities.
- Integrate SAP processes with Excel, VBA, Python, Power Automate, and other business applications where applicable.
- Work with business teams to identify repetitive SAP activities suitable for automation.
- Troubleshoot automation issues related to SAP and integrated applications.

5. SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Integration

- Develop solutions using SharePoint lists, libraries, forms, workflows, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Integrate SharePoint with Power Automate and other automation platforms.
- Automate document management, notifications, approvals, and data updates.
- Support automation solutions involving Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Assist with SharePoint administration and configuration as required.

6. Data Processing, ETL & Reporting

- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Develop automated data-processing pipelines using Python, VBA, and Power Automate.
- Create automated reports and dashboards using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources and systems for reporting and analysis.
- Support the development of data-driven business insights.

7. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective and scalable automation solutions.
- Conduct solution demonstrations and user acceptance testing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve user issues.

8. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement

- Monitor automation solutions and identify potential failures or bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across VBA, Power Automate, Python, SAP, SharePoint, and integrated applications.
- Optimize existing automation solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and digitization.
- Continuously evaluate new automation approaches and technologies.

9. Documentation & Knowledge Management

- Prepare technical documentation for automation solutions.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documents, user guides, and technical specifications.
- Maintain documentation for workflows, scripts, integrations, dependencies, and exception-handling mechanisms.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to relevant users and support teams.
