: Varicent ICM Consultant

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Varicent ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) Consultant/Developer to design, configure, implement, and support incentive compensation solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Varicent ICM, compensation plan configuration, data integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and configure Varicent ICM solutions based on business and compensation requirements.
- Develop and maintain incentive compensation plans, rules, calculations, quotas, credits, and payouts.
- Configure compensation components including rate tables, formulas, calculations, hierarchies, participants, and territories.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Varicent ICM configurations.
- Develop and maintain data integrations between Varicent ICM and upstream/downstream systems.
- Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Support end-to-end testing, including SIT, UAT, and production validation.
- Investigate and resolve calculation, data, and configuration issues.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, compensation teams, developers, and QA teams.
- Prepare technical and functional documentation for configurations and processes.
- Support production deployments, releases, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, performance, and overall compensation processes.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Varicent ICM.




- Experience in incentive compensation management and sales compensation processes.
- Good understanding of compensation plan design, commissions, bonuses, quotas, credits, and payouts.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data integration, ETL, and data validation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Experience with testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Varicent ICM SaaS / Varicent Incentive Compensation Management.
- Knowledge of APIs, integration frameworks, or ETL tools.
- Experience working with CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience supporting large enterprise clients and complex compensation programs.

Experience
- 48+ years of overall IT/consulting experience.
- 2–5+ years of hands-on Varicent ICM experience preferred.
- Experience working on enterprise incentive compensation implementations is highly desirable.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
