Position: Accounting Analyst

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Work Mode: Work from Office

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and accounting schedules.
- Apply fundamental accounting principles and practices while preparing financial information.
- Develop a basic understanding and application of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Perform financial and accounting analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring attention.
- Use Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and financial reporting activities.




- Support the team in resolving accounting-related issues through effective research and problem-solving.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in all assigned work.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP and accounting standards.
- Good understanding of financial statements, including:
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Word.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong willingness to learn financial reporting, accounting practices, and US-based accounting concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or finance will be an advantage.
- Exposure to US accounting, US GAAP, or international accounting standards will be preferred.
