Position: Account Manager - US

Position Overview - Unison Globus is hiring an Accounting Manager for our US Accounting practice. We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead accounting operations for US-based clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely client deliverables. The role involves managing and mentoring accounting teams, building robust client relationships, overseeing client onboarding, and driving process improvements to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.

Technical Roles

- Review bookkeeping, accounting and TB for various clients done by the staff.
- Review payroll entries and returns
- Review period end journal entries like payroll, depreciation, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue and reconciling inter-company transactions.
- Review Accounts payable reports and reconciliations
- Review Accounts receivable reports and reconciliations
- Review of period end accounts to identify major variances and discuss with the client
- Review 1099s at the year end
- Review and file Sales tax returns as required.
- Prepare financial statements for clients with notes.
- Lead and manage team of Staff Accountant and Seniors to make sure strictly adherence to client deliverables

Client Onboarding & Handling

- Shadow and work closely with the Business Acquisition team to onboard new clients
- Should be available during for client calls during Out of Hours
- Participate in client onboarding processes, including gathering necessary information, verifying documents,



and setting up client profiles.
- Establish strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Effectively communicate with CPA client firm and build strong relationship.

Process Development and SOPs

- Develop and implement efficient processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for firm operations, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery.
- Streamline workflow and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Mentoring and Training

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees, assisting in their professional development.
- Conduct training sessions on tax regulations, software tools, and best practices.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

- Any commerce graduate/postgraduate/Inter CA/CA with 5+ experience in US Accounting
- Ability to train Staff and Seniors on various accounting principles
- Analytical skills to review the books and financial statements and identify variances
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Highly motivated
- Advanced knowledge of various US accounting software Microsoft Office applications
- Ready to work cooperatively in teams

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
