Urgent Required Purchase Engineer in manufacturing Company for Chakan, Pune location

Required Qualification: DME/BE Mech

Required Experience: : 0-2 years (Manufacturing, Project based company, SPM Machines)

Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for all procurement activities.
- Developing & implementing the Procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets
- Vendor and Supplier development and evaluation.
- Review and update records / documents to comply with the ISO audit requirement
- Ability to hard negotiate to align with the optimal cost and timelines
- Timely sourcing of material to align with the commitments / requirements.
- Ensure timely inward/outward receipt of materials,




- Knowledge of processes involved in SPM/ Project based machine manufacturing.
- Ready to travel for follow up with vendors.
- Recent Vendor Development and assessments
- Good experience of procurement in sheet metal, ready profile, geared motors, machining parts etc

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills and Experience:

- Procurement experience in Project based industry will be added advantage
- SAP B1 will be a value addition since we work in SAP software.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software
