Title: UPI / NPCI Payment Application Support

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor UPI/payment transactions and identify failed, pending, timeout and reversal transactions.

- Provide first-level support for UPI payment-related issues.

- Understand UPI, NPCI, VPA, PSP, P2P and P2M transaction flows.

- Perform basic transaction validation using RRN, UTR, Transaction ID and application logs.

- Perform basic SQL queries for transaction/status validation.

- Monitor application dashboards and logs and identify abnormalities.

- Log update and track incidents/tickets within defined SLA.

- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with complete transaction details and initial analysis.

- Support transaction reconciliation and follow up on exceptions.





- Coordinate with internal teams and banking/payment stakeholders for issue resolution.

- Prepare basic incident updates and support RCA data collection.

Mandatory Skills

2–5 years of experience in Application/Production Support.

Hands-on experience in UPI / Payments / Banking domain.

Good understanding of NPCI, UPI, VPA, PSP, P2P & P2M.

Basic SQL knowledge.

Basic understanding of APIs, logs and transaction monitoring.

Good communication and incident-handling skills.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts / 24x7 support, if required.

Positive to Have

Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Kibana or similar.
